Project overview

The Glasgow School of Art is one of Europe's leading higher education institutions for the education and research in the visual creative disciplines. Open Studio at Glasgow School of Art is a programme of short courses in art, design and making – comprising of weekend, Summer school, and kids’ courses during the holidays.

As part of our ongoing work with GSA we were tasked with creating a campaign to encourage commuters to sign up for Open Studio classes online. To communicate this at a glance we stripped everything back to course title, call to action and prominent URL. The super bright Summery colours and large scale type made them hard to miss. The work appeared in both print and digital sites across the Subway, Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street.

‘Great creative response to our brief and we all loved the fresh and contemporary visuals, particularly the digital posters across the city. They were fun, eye-catching, upped our presence and made our campaign stand out from the crowd’

Claire Biddles – Communications Officer, Glasgow School of Art
